Van Otis Chocolates occasionally has job openings, especially during the fourth quarter each year, for various hourly production and retail positions. Positions can be part-time or full-time/seasonal. Our needs vary, but we are always looking for dedicated and responsible employees who love people and thrive in a team environment. Retail and gift positions usually involve Saturday work hours.

• Candy Packers: No experience necessary.
• Candy Kitchen Assistants: No experience necessary.
• Retail Clerks/Customer Assistance: Must have prior retail store experience
• Gift Department Assistants: Must have experience creating and assembling gift baskets, with wrapping and bow-making skills

• Sales and Customer Service Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional Sales and Customer Service Manager in southern New Hampshire.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Sales, customer, and employee focused leader with a successful track record in sales/retail management (ideally in specialty food)
• Hard-working hands-on manager and role model who fosters teamwork and positive attitudes
• Results-oriented and ambitious mentor, not afraid to challenge him/herself and the team
• Excellent motivator who is creative and eager to take initiative
• Outgoing personality with an over the top "can do" attitude, not afraid to try out new ideas
• Able to work in a systematic and comprehensive way
• Excellent communicator, within the company and towards the outside
• Computer savvy (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet), ideally with Point-Of-Sale (POS) system experience
• At least 10 years of sales & customer service management experience in a retail environment
• Bachelor degree in a related discipline
• Must be willing to work retail hours, including Saturdays
